We designed the mat with a fine pebble top pattern and slip resistant bottom. All the mats (except the home gym mat) have radius corners and theyre available in gray or black. This well crafted mat will protect your floors from the wear and tear of home or commercial equipment and our pricing makes them a great value. A solid PVC material is a better choice for exercise equipment matting compared to a blown PVC. Blown PVC has foam like qualities as opposed to the solid nature of our Defender line. Blown PVC is made by blowing air into the PVC mixture during manufacturing. This process makes for a thicker but not necessarily stronger equipment mat. Foam compresses the instant equipment is placed on it and is subject to ripping and tearing over the long term. This is not the case with solid PVC.
